DIAMONDS researcher, Dr Emma Lim speaks about the impact of involving young people in research. The Young Person’s Advisory Group North England (YPAGne) is 1 of the 15 groups across the UK which support the design and delivery of paediatric research in the UK.
DIAMONDS has been featured in the news for its work to help understand the developing children’s Kawasaki-like syndrome potentially linked to COVID-19 and predict the disease severity.
Over the next five years, 28 partners from 13 countries will work together to develop a rapid test for serious illnesses using personalised gene signatures.
